If you came here looking for pictures of scantily clad trade show booth babes, let me get the gratuitous pictures out the the way, then I'll get to the point (below)
While "booth babes" may be nice to look at (hence the term "eye candy"), they generally belong in someone else's display booth. If you want to have an effective display booth and do good business, please avoid the temptation of resorting to booth babes. Unless you're selling women's underwear or something else actually related to the scantily clad model standing in your booth, using a trade show booth babe makes your display booth look like this (IMHO):
